OVER

“Great music, great stories!”

That’s my motto as a classical pianist, presenter, and music theatre actor. It is my passion to engage with you by sharing the classical music and stories that inspire me. I strive to enrich your world in a meaningful, communicative and entertaining way. I do so by playing in concert halls, presenting radio & television shows, and performing in theatre productions.

Highlights of my career so far have been winning the 3rd prize at the International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht in 2005. It provided opportunities for me to perform all over the world. Recently I was invited to be their jury member which took me to Shanghai, Moscow, Utrecht and New York. You will envy the photos on my Facebook and Instagram account. And yes, we compensated the CO2 emission.

In 2010 I started presenting, and from 2013 on I have had my own daily show on NPO Radio 4. I am a regular guest on 5 Uur Live and shows by Paul de Leeuw. A precious memory is performing on former Queen Beatrix’ birthday at Royal Theatre Carré in 2009 which was broadcasted live.

My first steps in theatre were with the monologues Cosima and De Koperen Tuin. During the Holland Festival in 2016 I was part of the Pique Dame cast with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra under Mariss Jansons. I am currently touring  Kabarett Dapitulet with actor Hans Dagelet and viola player Esther Apituley.

But “Show, don’t tell!” is what they say. So scroll down to learn more, check out my portfolio, and keep me busy by contacting me! 🙂
